Episode 6 with Lauren Krauter
On episode 6 of Call it Good, I’m talking with my friend Lauren Krauter. Lauren is a former nurse who chased her dream to pursue photography full time. She and her husband Casey own Krauter Photography–intimate photography for adventurous souls and wild love. They live in Indianapolis, but are currently traveling and are in Germany right now. On this episode, Lauren shares her journey of embracing imperfection, living authentically, chasing her dreams, and claiming hope and peace amidst life’s unknowns.
The first time we grabbed coffee together, Lauren skipped over small talk and dove deep into meaningful conversation with me. The first question she asked was: “So, what’s your story?” Over several hours we shared our stories of health, marriage, perfectionism, body image, and dreams. One of my favorite things about Lauren is how she is unapologetically herself. Her authenticity is inspiring, and her sweet voice is calming and soothing. I teared up while I was editing this episode because her words are so powerful.
